All the
Colleges, six RARS and 26 Research Stations under the
University have separate libraries with adequate minimum
infrastructure.
The Central Library of the University located at the Main
Campus, Vellanikkara, has physical facilities of international
standards.
Central Library has developed an integrated library information
system with a LAN connected to the Main Campus network and libraries
in the distant campuses of the University.
The libraries have a total collection of 1.0 lakh books and
subscribe to nearly 500 periodicals, both Indian and foreign. The
library has acquired CABI with database from 1973 onwards consisting
of more than 3.0 million records. The ARIS was implemented in the
University during March 1996 with connection to all the Colleges.
The University has started a website giving information to the
public.
