1.6 FUNDING FOR RESEARCH

There are three major sources, which contribute funds for the research activities in KAU namely ICAR (Partly and fully financed schemes), Govt. of India and private agencies. Surprisingly not even a single project is listed from state .plan funds. In the Agricultural Faculty there are 122 ongoing research projects funded by different agencies, 39 research projects in Veterinary Faculty , seven projects in Fisheries faculty and ten projects in Agricultural Engineering faculty.
