1.2.2 STAFF STRENGTH

The total staff strength of the university is indicated below in table. It is categorised as faculty, technical , administrative and permanent labourers. The ratio of faculty staff with other categories also is worked out. The teaching Vs administrative staff ratio is the highest in the College of Engineering (1:1.54) followed by College of Agriculture, Vellayani (1;0.94). The absolute numbers of both faculty and administrative staff are almost 4.5 times higher in the College of Agriculture than College of Engineering.
