Preface

      Special Central Assistance to Tribal Sub Plan (SCA to TSP) helps to fill critical gaps in Tribal Sub Plan. The present Review Report analyses the pattern of distribution and utilisation of Special Central Assistance to Tribal Sub Plan funds among various offices of Integrated Tribal Development Projects (ITDPs), Tribal Development Offices of (TDOs) and through the Directorate during 1985-2000. The Officers of the Evaluation Division undertook the Review. I would like to thank the Director, Scheduled Tribe Development Department for having provided the requisite data for the Review. It is hoped that the present Review Report would be useful to academicians and policy makers.
