Preparation of Tenth Five Year Plan by Local Governments - Guidelines - Modified - Orders Issued:-

ORDER

      The detailed guidelines for the preparation of the Tenth Five Year Plan by Local Governments have been issued as per G.O. read first above.
  1. As part of computerisation of activities of Local Governments sanction was accorded, as per Govt. order read second above, for digitising and printing the cadastral maps of all Local Governments during the Tenth Five Year Plan and for meeting the expenses from the plan grant under general sector.


  2. Accordingly, Government are pleased to approve the guidelines for preparation of cadastral maps as given below:-

    1. In the cadastral maps of Local Governments received from Revenue Department the wards will be marked and digitised and printed copies of ward-wise maps will be supplied to the Local Governments by the Information Kerala Mission


    2. Local Governments should mark the important boundaries, roads, places and location of institutions like post office etc. in the printed copy of the maps and return them to the Information Kerala Mission. The services of engineering staff in the Local Governments, engineering personnel transferred to Local Governments, experts in preparation of maps may be utilised for this work.


    3. The ward-wise maps of each Local Government will be finalised by the Information Kerala Mission.


  3. The Local Governments may give to the Information Kerala Mission the actual cost, subject to the ceiling given below, for supplying the final copy of digitised and printed maps.
