ORDER
As per the Government Order read above detailed guidelines have been issued for preparation of the Tenth Five Year Plan by Local Governments.
- The State Level Coordination Committee for Decentralised Planning has suggested certain amendments to the guidelines based on the feedback from the local governments.
- Government have examined the suggestions of the Coordination Committee in detail and are pleased to approve the following amendments to the guidelines issued vide Government Order read above
3.1
Assistance can be given up to a maximum of Rs. 10,000 per beneficiary for repair of houses of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes
3.2
In case the Block panchayats and Municipalities are unable to identify a suitable officer from among gazetted officers for appointing as plan coordinators, the officers holding the highest non gazetted post in the offices transferred to the Block Panchayats or Municipalities concerned can be appointed as plan coordinator.
3.3
The dates for submission of plan documents and projects are revised as follows :-
A. Plan finalisation and submission to District Planning Committee through Technical Advisory Committee.
(i) Grama Panchayats 25.10.2002(ii) Block Panchayats and Municipalities 05.11.2002(iii) Corporations and District Panchayats 12.11.2002
B. Approval by District Planning Committee.
(i) Grama Panchayats 15.11.2002(ii) Block Panchayats and Municipalities 20.11.2002(iii) Corporations and District Panchayats 30.11.2002
- The Government Order read above stands modified to this effect.
